She Will Connect

The Intel She Will Connect Programme, has been in the forefront of educating young girls and women on maximum contributions toward economic and social development across the world. The Intel® She Will Connect program is working with Junior Achievement Nigeria, and a number of NGOs, government agencies, and other local business partners to close this gender gap and give girls and women the training and support they need to improve their lives through technology. The program aims to reach 5 million women in sub-Saharan Africa. The Intel She Will Connect program features three key program elements designed to help girls and women take advantage of the many opportunities provided through technology and Internet access: digital literacy; online peer network; and content and resources.

The partnership between JAN and Intel has proved to be very fruitful and impactful, as it supports JAN's E-Learning initiative by giving young people a firm foundation in fundamental technology skills. The program has also been highly beneficial for our facilitator's also as they have been given the opportunity to be Certified Intel Master Trainers.  #SheWillConnect has brought JAN great visibility as our Executive Director, Mrs. Efua Edeh has been featured alongside Titilope Sonuga in numerous radio and television promotional campaigns.
