2015 Company of the Year (COY) Enugu

 
This years COY was a great success and this is what Junior Achievement is all about; celebrating and nurturing the creative abilities of our youth, and empowering them to own their economic success. A very special thank you to our National Programs Coordinator, Mrs. Franca Thomas who travelled to a number of locations to support JAN during her pregnancy with a great attitude and lots of energy. A big thank you also to JAN coordinator Mr. Emmanuel Oturu, who makes miracles happen for JAN in the South and South-East Region of Nigeria.

1st Place Winner: Ultimate Production Ltd. Day School Enugu.
 
The ladies of Ultimate Production Ltd brought a showcase; not just goods. They performed a specially choreographed dance for event; produced cupboards made from recycled newspapers; re-packaged Ogiri (a local thickener); purses made from beads; pens made from bamboo and recycled cartons and bags to make ladies handbags. Their presentation was impeccable. All items they showcased were very well made and their variety was unmatched, Kudos to the Ultimate Production Ltd!
 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 


2nd Place Winner: Crown Success Ltd, Government Secondary School Enugu
Crown Success did a great job and produced a lovely variety of products. They produced a flower vase made from recycled tyres; phone and laptop packs; a suitcase equipped with a light and alarm; rugs made from wool and a disco ball made from paper and light bulbs. Very well done guys!
 
 
  
 
 
3rd Place Winner: D'Best Company Ltd, Queens School Enugu.
 
D'Best Company Ltd created paper mache to create lovely fruit sculptures, which look quite edible from the photos. They also made Ashoke wrapper and tie and dye fabrics. In addition they also used cartons and other local materials to produce boxes.  
 

 
 
Runners Up: Zenith Ltd, Queens School Enugu
 
The talented students of Zenith Ltd produced shower caps, mop sticks made from wool and fancy beads and slippers. Well done girls!
 
 
 


 Runner Up: Philangelus Ltd, St. Patrick's Emene
 
Philangelus Ltd, produced chalk; and electric iron made from wood, and recycled materials and a calabash made out of watermelon. Well done lads.





  
Runner Up: Silverstone Ltd of Graceland Enugu
 
The talented students of Silverstone Ltd made a wooden graph that operated with a rubber band system; a teddy bear and a crocodile artwork made out of beads. Well done team.
