JAN AWARDS DINNER – “PARTNERING TO DRIVE CHANGE” On Tuesday 13 th December, 2016, all friends, partners, volunteers, trustees, alumni, and staff of Junior Achievement Nigeria were duly represented at the JAN Awards Dinner which held at the Landmark Event Centre Oniru Victoria Island, Lagos. The dinner themed “Partnering to Drive Change” was an opportunity to honor individuals and organisations who have made outstanding contributions to JAN in the course of the year. GRABBING A HOLD OF YOUR FINANCIAL FUTURE - #WSD 2016 Junior Achievement Nigeria in partnership with Citi Bank celebrates the 2016 World Savings Day with students of Government College, Marroco, Ikoyi and Government College, Waziri Ibrahim, Victoria Island, Lagos State. The facilitators, Mr. Opeyemi Olomo,   Treasury & Trade, CitiBank and Mrs. Lola Oyeka, Head Public Affairs, CitiBank educated the students in both schools about savings; why they need to save, what they should save, when they should save and where they should save. both sessions were interactive and students were able to share their their personal experiences on saving and shared personal reasons why they save.  The reason for saving for most of them, is to help support their parents with their financial commitment to their education. The product was sold with a smart remote control that enabled owners to change the messages scrolling across the screen as often as they deemed necessary without having to engage the services of an IT professional .
