LEAD Camp media mentor and Ebonylife TV producer Mrs. Priscilla Nzimiro, showed her mentees the ropes of the entertainment business during their field trip to the EbonyLife TV production studio where they had a full tour of the grounds by presenter Fortune Imerhion who was so patient in showing us around.  The girls got the chance to see what life behind the camera is really like, the work entailed in producing a show and the energy required to make it in the industry. The girls weren't quite as ready as we had hoped for their cameo in regards to the manner they approached their research, but Priscilla came up with a new strategy and created new lines for the girls to read and worked with them on their diction to make sure they delivered their best performance and this  is the essence of mentorship after all. Over the last decade, several African countries has gained the world’s attention as emerging innovation hubs. We have seen technologies like M-Pesa, Mellowcabs electric minicabs and Saavyloo pedal-operated waterless toilets, created by STEM entrepreneurs to address some of the real challenges faced on the continent. To maintain this trend, there is a need, across the continent, for greater emphasis on hands-on STEM education that bridges the gap between theory, entrepreneurship and STEM innovation. Additionally, given the realities of global warming, natural resource depletion, energy crises, and environmental degradation, it is critical that STEM solutions to development challenges are sustainable. JAN Program, Ready Set Go (RSG) was sponsored by JP Morgan to train 3,000 Nigerian youth in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. Students were taught Financial Literacy, Critical thinking; Leadership Development skills Entrepreneurship; mentoring and work readiness skills. The program targeted participants aged 14 to 25.   RSG program partners included: Ovie Brume Foundation Chanell Microfinance Federal Government Agencies Abuja Community Based Organizations Participating State Schools. During the 16 sessions of Ready Set Go, the participants were trained on the following; •    Leadership development and life skill training: Students were encouraged to be critical thinkers and taught basic life skills that can help them navigate life with a clear vision of how every action impacts their futures.
