ViMP is a one-week intensive session to introduce select members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to the different facets of managing a business, making crucial business decisions and developing skills for Management. The goal of ViMP is to prepare NYSC members for the world of business as managers and entrepreneurs. This opportunity is designed to expose future business leaders to the responsibilities, opportunities, and demands of a career in management.

The week-long program led by facilitators from The Lagos Business School (LBS), included rigorous and stimulating classroom meetings, case studies, panel discussions, networking, study groups, guest speakers and recreation, culminating in a strategy workshop, during which the participants were presented with real life case study scenarios. The LBS  learning environment rivals that of the world’s top business schools with case studies focusing on Business Ethics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Social Enterprise, General Management, Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Participants also engaged in a community service project at Debiross and Elidott Primary schools in the Ajah, Lekki axis.

Participants lodged at Peninsula Resort, Ajah, Lekki for the duration of the program. All food and transportation was provided by JAN. In addition they also received the following benefits from our sponsors:

Financial Literacy Day, was a huge success. The numbers are still coming in, but so far the feedback has been amazing. The beneficiaries asked very engaging and enlightening questions and they were very privileged to get answers on critical financial matters direct from Mr. Emmanuel Ukeje, Director of Financial Markets, CBN who was there on behalf of the CBN Governor.
