JAN unveils Technology Delivery Platform

During the 15th Anniversary celebration, the Vice-chairman of JAN, Mr Niyi Yusuf, unveiled JAN's Technology Delivery Platform which constituted of an e-learning platform and a mobile app.

JAN believes that in order to reach out to 1 million youths by 2020 especially in the remote locations of the country there is a need to key into the use of Technology to enable people to learn anytime and anywhere through E-learning and mobile apps.

In light of this, JAN has launched its e-learning platform which helps students in both primary and secondary schools to study courses relating to Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship and Work
Readiness.

The use of new multimedia technologies and the internet in learning is seen as a means to improve accessibility, efficiency and quality of learning by facilitating access to information resources and services as well as remote exchanges and collaboration.

The mobile app called JAN Career Cluster, which complements the Careers With a Purpose (CWAP) program, was also launched to help students plan their careers. We presently have the Android version on our website for download and also, the windows version in the windows store. The plan is to also have the IOS and Blackberry version.

The e-learning platform and the mobile app can be accessed through JAN's website www.ja-nigeria.org.
