The Junior Achievement More than Money Program

Hello All,
This is to enlighten you on the Junior Achievement More than money program.
The JA More than Money experience enhances students’ classroom curriculum. Students are encouraged to use innovative thinking to learn money – management skills that support positive attitudes as they explore and enhance their career aspirations.

The goals are:

Ø  The role money plays in the society

Ø  Saving, sharing and spending

Ø  Becoming a smart consumer

Ø  Earning income by starting a business

Through a variety of hands-on activities designed to support differentiated learning styles, students develop a better understanding of the relationship between what they learn at school and their successful participation in a worldwide economy.

JA More than Money is currently running once a week for six weeks beginning May 2013 at the following schools:

Amville School Ilupeju

Pamper Private School Lekki

Devine Offspring School Ikeja

The six week program begins in June 2013 at the following schools:

Silver Sands School VGC, Ajah

Edidot School Ajah,

Corona School Gbagada

Volunteers are trained to deliver the program in the classrooms; they could be parents, teachers and or business volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or have any questions, please email me or drop a message in the comment box below.
