The world environmental day was established by the United Nations General Assembly to mark the opening of the 1972 Stockholm conference. The purpose of this day is to celebrate achievements made towards protecting the environment. By doing this, we remind ourselves and others the importance of caring for our environment. Caring for the environment invariably means caring for our health, our finances, the society and the future generation.   It brings about an improved lifestyle, world peace and more importantly, it is fun. Hello All, This is to enlighten you on the Junior Achievement More than money program. The JA More than Money experience enhances students’ classroom curriculum. Students are encouraged to use innovative thinking to learn money – management skills that support positive attitudes as they explore and enhance their career aspirations. The goals are: Ø   The role money plays in the society Ø   Saving, sharing and spending Ø   Becoming a smart consumer Ø   Earning income by starting a business Through a variety of hands-on activities designed to support differentiated learning styles, students develop a better understanding of the relationship between what they learn at school and their successful participation in a worldwide economy.
