JA NIGERIA WONDERLAND PARTY 2017

KEYSTONE BANK AND UBER PARTNER WITH JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT NIGERIA TO CELEBRATE CHILDREN’S DAY WITH 500 PUPILS IN LAGOS STATE.
In celebration of Children’s Day 2017, Junior Achievement Nigeria (JAN) has partnered with Keystone Bank and Uber to host 500 pupils of Federal Housing Estate Primary School, Victoria Island Primary School, Awoyaya Primary School and Ansarudeen Primary School on Thursday 25th May, 2017.

All 500 pupils are beneficiaries of Junior Achievement Nigeria’s More Than Money program, a financial literacy program which empowers primary 4, 5 & 6 students to cultivate better saving and spending habits and helps development of soft skills such as commitment, consistency, prioritizing and contentment. The event, which transforms the schools’ compound into a fun wonderland for a day, will include food, games, activities and gifts from the sponsors.

Mrs. Simi Nwogugu, Executive Director, Junior Achievement Nigeria said, “We decided to celebrate Children’s Day this year with some of our elementary school students who are so hardworking and intelligent, but who do not often get a chance to be celebrated in this way.  We thank our sponsors at Keystone Bank and Uber for making this possible.”

Mrs. Omobolanle Osotule, Head, Brand Management, Marketing & Corporate Communications at Keystone Bank said, “We admire the impact that JAN is creating in these children’s lives which will set them up for a successful future, so we are very proud to support this initiative to get the kids out of the classroom and have some fun.”
