JAN FUN RUN ............#JANFUNRUN
Junior Achievement Nigeria; a global partner of Junior
Achievement Worldwide has been in existence since 1919 and started
operations in Nigeria in the last quarter of 1999. Our goal is to prepare young
citizens to succeed in the global economy by bridging the gap between the
classroom and the workplace.
We have developed several cutting edge FREE programs built on Junior Achievement’s three (3) pillars for success; Entrepreneurship, Work readiness and Financial literacy to primary-NYSC students.
Former JAN participants; now JAN Ambassadors such as Mr. Tunji Eloso (Director, Pre-Incubation CoCreation-Hub), Mr. Sim Shagaya (CEO Konga) and Ms. Toyosi Akerele (CEO/Founder, Rise Networks), credit JAN for empowering their entrepreneurial visions.
Each year, JA
Nigeria organizes a fundraising event to support the delivery of our programs
to public and private schools public; especially the underserved public schools. The JAN Fun Run is a
fundraising initiative by JA Nigeria, while encouraging health and wellness within our
communities.
· Supports JAN’s E-Learning Delivery platform to impact more youth in remote regions.
· Aids JAN’s initiative to create a mobile learning center equipped with computers, internet etc.
· Supports JAN’s initiative to empower the girl-child and all marginalized Nigerian youth.
· Supports JAN’s drive to create a nation of critical thinkers, not dependent on external entities.
Thank you for supporting our efforts to impact 1,000,000 lives by 2020.
See you at the Waterfront!
Best Regards,
The JAN Team
