Count down to STEM !!!

The Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Innovation Camp is an initiative developed through a partnership between Research in Motion (RIM) Blackberry and Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Europe – Europe’s largest provider of entrepreneurship education programmes.

The STEM Innovation Camp helps raise awareness amongst secondary school students aged 15-18, of STEM related issues, showcases excellent role models for the industry from Blackberry and leads the way to showing that skills-based CSR programs have a vital role to play in the future of education and aligning business needs with curriculums.

The STEM Innovation Camp is a 12-h camp where students - with access to tools, experts and resources - come together in mixed teams and learn about how to generate and shape ideas within a short deadline.

70 students aged 15-18 from 14 secondary schools in the Lagos area will be in attendance to present innovative solutions to a complex challenge.
