STEM Winners!!!

STEM: The Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) innovation camp. Congratulations to all  students who participated in the event yeterday. Hello All,   The Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) innovation camp by JA Nigeria and Blackberry for senior secondary school students was successfully completed yesterday at the Terrakulture. The volunteers were exceptional and dedicated in their supervision and leadership of the student groups – and students wowed everyone with the delivery of their brilliant solutions in such a short time.   If you were not there, you missed out! The Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Innovation Camp is an initiative developed through a partnership between Research in Motion (RIM) Blackberry and Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Europe – Europe’s largest provider of entrepreneurship education programmes. The STEM Innovation Camp helps raise awareness amongst secondary school students aged 15-18, of STEM related issues, showcases excellent role models for the industry from Blackberry and leads the way to showing that skills-based CSR programs have a vital role to play in the future of education and aligning business needs with curriculums. The STEM Innovation Camp is a 12-h camp where students - with access to tools, experts and resources - come together in mixed teams and learn about how to generate and shape ideas within a short deadline. 70 students aged 15-18 from 14 secondary schools in the Lagos area will be in attendance to present innovative solutions to a complex challenge.
